Personal records all over the place today! I did the @savetheelephants #10K in #centralpark - it was HARD. So much uphill. I kept every mile under 12 minutes, and that’s kind of amazing for me, especially with the climbs. Super proud of this run. #running #raiseyourhandifyouresure #training #savetheelephants #raceday #race #runnersofinstagram #runner #run #coldgear #underarmour #elephant #irunbecause #irunforthosewhocant #personalrecord #slowrunner #fattofit #fatgirlrunning #nycrunning #centralparkrun
All that's left of the crazy spring nor'easter. I tried for a 9:30 pace (since I did just under 10:20 for my 8 miles) but failed. Fell hard in mile 2 but was pretty happy with just under 10 for the full 3 miles. I know I'm not the fastest nor was this the longest run, but I still try to give it my all.
Pre-run, I watched the elite women pass by just before mile 7 of the NYC Half. This was 39:25! That is a crazy pace. Such an inspiring start to a morning. I did 8 miles at a 10:17 pace, which I am very excited about.
I felt exactly like my pup this morning, but I got out and ran 2.5 miles anyways. Worth it.
2.5 miles to prep for the 10k this Saturday my boyfriend decided was a fun birthday idea. It's going to be a high of 11°.
Morning lineup. 2.85 miles, 10:15 pace. Easing back in is a bitch.
More on how to exercise with a pup. Rascal’s favorite time is when I have my legs up post run and he just gets pet for 5-10 minutes. It’s a hard life.
