Since being here, I've woke to around 230AM and found myself saying thank you to the universe for allowing my husband and I to just be on this trip. I've been traveling for the least two or three years much more frequently than I ever have in my life but it's rare that I get to take him along with me. Eric's talked about Japan since we started dating in 2001 -- wow, 18 years ago. When we had our baby boy, a lot of our plans shifted into thinking about what's best for the family, sometimes forgetting what's good for us as two adults who love each other. This trip is reminding us to relax and to take the mini honeymoon that we wanted 12 years ago. From this experience, I'm looking to make this happen annually.
