She finally has ears!!!!! Yippiee!!!
“There is something passing in front of you. Do not open your eyes,” Nyree instructed as the insect fluttered between them. “What can you tell me about it?”
Tara lifted her chin in the direction of the creature and took a breath. The Force felt warm as it pressed gently against her mind.
“It’s a butterfly.”
“Good. What color is it?”
Her brow pinched for a moment as she concentrated. “It’s…yellow. With a black body.”
“Are you sure?” Nyree asked, making sure to keep her tone even as she leaned forward to watch the child. A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth and Tara chuckled after a moment.
“Yes, Master.”
“Very good, Tara. Now,” Nyree shifted and took a sip of her tea as the butterfly went about its way. “I want you to tell me how many like your new friend are in this garden.”
Tara sighed and squared her shoulders. A brief pause followed the sound. “With my eyes closed?”
Nyree smiled. “With your eyes closed.”
This is my entry for Nic’s dtiys as well. 💚

Dragon Age: Redemption ROLE CALL
In 2011, Felicia Day wrote and starred in a 6 part web-series that served as a prequel to Dragon Age 2. The series introduced Tallis prior to her appearance in the Mark of the Assassin dlc, and detailed Tallis's backstory as an embattled elven convert to the Qun. Released online by the now defunct new media company Machinima, Redemption was stylistically reminiscent of low-budget 90s fantasy TV shows like Hercules and Xena, but boasted a fantastic script that is a master class in short story writing. I like it a wholee lot. So here is an illustration I've always wanted to make: a "movie poster" in honor of Dragon Age: Redemption!
