Since I was 7 years old I wanted to go into law enforcement. Since I was 7 years old I wanted to be part of a group of remarkable individuals who are always a call away. For 17 years my goal has been aimed towards joining my police department. But as I was young, I didn’t know what I wanted to do. It was too early for me to think of a career, too early for me to decide what to do with my life. But you changed that, because of your unfortunate passing you reminded me of what I wanted to do with my life. When you left us in 2006 it was felt by many. When I was part of the choir that sang at your funeral I felt it. It is because of you, you reminded me of what I wanted to be. It set the mold for me to develop my life into. It was because of you, I met an officer who not only inspired me but motivated me to go into law enforcement. He became my mentor, my teacher, and my good friend. To thank you and all those who were there for me, guiding me in the right direction. I dedicate this tattoo to you AJ, and all of your brothers and sisters. Thank you! Trooper Andrew J. Sperr End of Watch March 1st, 2006. Rest in Peace sir, thank you for your sacrifice! #LawEnforcement #NYSTroopers #ThinBlueLine #Tattoo @pyramidartstattoo @hnnahrose (at Pyramid Arts Tattoo) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bo455bYHaOR/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=170m5blrs1i0b
