I saw this on my dash, and I am so horrified by it. I screenshotted because I don't want to reblog it and give it more notes, but I'm correcting it point by point. 1. If you fall asleep now, depending on what time "now" is, you may get your sufficient 8-9 hours of sleep which will help with memory retention. 2. Don't give up, but feel free to adjust your plan to a new timeline if you have less time than you expected. 3. Exercise a balance of discipline and gentleness towards yourself. Push yourself through discomfort, but not extensive pain. 4. Studying is not just about working hard but also working smart - using your time strategically and wisely. 5. Life is not all about studying. Your value as a person is not all about your grades. 6. Studying is like exercise for your brain - you should work through some pain, but don't push yourself too hard or you will injure yourself. 7. Sometimes effort doesn't equal result, through no fault of your own. The education system is messy and life is full of barriers and inequalities. 8. The traditional definition of "success" is based only on money, not other valuable aspects of life such as family, friends and health. 9. Time often moves faster than you expect so take time to be in the moment. 10. Idek what this is supposed to mean. 11. Same here, wtf? 12. Procrastination means you'll be under pressure later so try to manage your time carefully. 13. It's good to be forward-thinking and plan for the future, but not at the expense of every moment of your present - otherwise you'll always be looking to the future and unable to enjoy the results of your previous work. 14. Salary and education are in no way linked. Salary is determined by your career - some careers are paid less than they should be, like teachers for example! Higher education doesn't automatically equal a higher salary. 15. Today won't come back, but tomorrow is another day with more opportunities.

31 March 2018. 11/100 days of productivity
Some notes on film scene analysis for English 🙄
yes we can!
[24.07.17]
Day 1/100
Started the 100 days of productivity again to help get me through my second to last term of school. I’ll need it for this term because it will be jam packed with revision for English, math, PE, biology, chemistry and physics in preparation for my mock exams 👩🏻🎓📓📚 Right now I’m trying (key word is *trying*) to write a critical analysis report for English where I have to apply a literary theory to a chosen text of mine and analyse it. it’s due in a week but I still haven’t read my book!! I need to learn how to stop leaving things to the last minute ha ha ha …..
Need advice!
To any studyblr’s and more specifically NZ studyblrs, it’s time to chose options and I’m not 100% sure what I should take. I want to go into medicine and I’m not sure whether to take Statistics or Calculus and then whether to take Shakespeare English or Non-Shakespeare. I am leaning more towards Statistics and Shakespeare but if anyone can give me some advice that would be highly appreciated
