The O Antiphons - December 18th - O Adonai
O Lord and Ruler the house of Israel, who appeared to Moses in the flame of the burning bush and gave him the law on Sinai: come, and redeem us with outstretched arms.

O Sapientia, quae ex ore Altissimi prodiisti, attingens a fine usque ad finem fortiter, suaviterque disponens omnia: veni ad docendum nos viam prudentiae.
O Wisdom, who proceeds from the mouth of the Most High, reaching out mightily from end to end, and sweetly arranging all things: come to teach us the way of peace.
Isaiah 11:2-3: And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. And His delight shall be in the fear of the Lord. He shall not judge by what His eyes see, or decide by what His ears hear;
Isaiah 28:29: This also comes from the Lord of hosts; He is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.
O Emmanuel,
our king and our lawgiver,
the hope of the nations
and their Savior:
Come and save us,
O Lord our God.
O Adonai, et Dux domus Israel, qui Moysi in igne flammae rubi apparuisti, et ei in Sina legem dedisti: veni ad redimendum nos in brachio extento.
O Adonai and Leader of the house of Israel, who appeared to Moses in the burning bush, and gave him the law on Sinai: come to redeem us with arm extended.
