Ive seen too many Jason todd posts where i thought it was a Jason Grace. So now i need a Jason todd and Jason Grace switch places fic. Unfortunately i need to learn more about Jason todd and batfam to like properly write it.
Right now im getting vibes of Bruce was gonna adopt him but learned he can fly so now hes trying to push him onto mild mannered Clark Kent. (I know even less of superfam though)
Jason Todd meanwhile just solves all the problems. If it takes place during toa, he’s already stolen Apollo needed shoes or whatever. Hes totally solved a bunch of problems. The real question is what problems has he caused.
Author's Note: This is a short Bang Dream: Ave Mujica fanfiction, specifically it's a second person fic centered on Togawa Sakiko. It's inspired by and based on episode 5, which, to state it informally, fucked me up. It's about depression, about hopelessness. It also contains direct references to domestic violence, so be warned.
This isn't the kind of style I usually write, it's experimental for me. I had the idea and hashed it out in the dead of the night. It is also perhaps the most depressing thing I've ever written.
I will try to get this posted to AO3 as soon as I am able as well.
EDIT 2/6/2025: Adjusted a few lines, most noticeably one in particular based on new information revealed in episode 6. That also fucked me up by the way.

You wake up in the usual hole.
The stench of alcohol and grime surrounds you.
You feel nothing. It doesn't matter anymore.
You look over texts from Uika, desperately asking where you are, if you are safe.
A reminder of a better place. Of someone you love.
You ignore her.
You feel nothing. It doesn't matter anymore.
At school, you overhear your classmates talk about your favorite band.
You don't even bat an eye.
You feel nothing. It doesn't matter anymore.
Leaving school, you find yet another sticky note from Tomori inside your locker.
A reminder of a better time. Of someone you love.
You read it then crumple it up.
You feel nothing. It doesn't matter anymore.
At work, you overhear your coworkers talking behind your back.
"Isn't she the Togawa heiress?"
"Isn't that Oblivionis of Mujica?"
You feel nothing. It doesn't matter anymore.
The way home is covered with familiar faces.
Mutsumi covers every billboard and Nyamu every screen.
You feel nothing. It doesn't matter anymore.
Your father cries at you "why would you give it up for me? Why do you waste your time? Is it so I suffer?!"
He throws another beer can.
He misses.
You feel nothing. It doesn't matter anymore.
Your mother's doll watches over you, as always.
You feel nothing. It doesn't matter anymore.
You feel nothing.
You feel nothing.
You feel nothing.
You feel nothing.
You feel nothing.
You feel nothing.
You feel nothing.
You feel nothing.
You keep telling yourself that.
You have blocked Uika, but you read every message she sent every morning.
You'd hum Morfonica songs if you thought no one was listening.
You keep every one of Tomori's sticky notes, arranged neatly in a beloved notebook.
You wince in frustration at work.
You look away so the images of Mortis and Amoris can't see you.
You still recoil when your father tries to hit you.
You turn your mother's doll away, as if ashamed of it seeing you like this.
You are in pain.
Everything reminds you that you are still human, that you still feel and still love.
And it hurts too much.
It hurts until your heart goes numb.
In the end, it only reminds you how much you hate yourself.
It doesn't matter anymore.
A lost cause.
You wish Uika and Tomori would realize that.
You wake up in the usual hole.
It is now a sterile prison for dolls.
Your grandfather greets you instead of your father.
But nothing else has changed.
You want to feel nothing. It doesn't matter anymore.
Tartarus caused changes to them both, Piper mused. Jason’s eyes were darker. Nico’s were Jason’s sky blue. Neither of them shared what occurred.
They seemed close. They shared looks. Piper swore she heard Jason trying to teach Nico to fly. Nico seemed more out there. Jason almost seemed to fade into the shadows.
She heard whispers behind her.
“When are you going to tell her?”
“Hazel took the news well.”
“Of course, she did, she’s my well, I guess now your sister?”
Something in Tartarus had changed them, changed who they were.
Jason hadn’t remembered him. Something felt off when he thought of Nico. Like there was a gap in the place of Nico. He couldn’t remember him.
He knew he dropped off Hazel. He knew they should have known him. He knew there was more than the aching feeling of wrongness when Nico was mentioned.
He should have.
Jason had nothing. His past was a blur. His identity was a blur. All he knew was that he didn’t want to lose Nico again. Somehow seeing him again brought that back.
If Nico had to fall again, Jason would fall with him.
Dates were hard. Everyone looked to Jason. Every free moment was taken by questions or requests or sudden issues. If Jason wasn’t busy, then Nico was. His father sent him on many missions.
They found time, nonetheless. Their first dates weren’t the most romantic, Nico tagging along on Jason’s chores.
Still, they were together.
Finally, they found time. After a long meeting, Jason returned to the Praetor’s house to find Nico waiting with food. For one night, they were normal.
The evening ended with a kiss.
Jason barely stayed grounded.
If Jason had known the future he would’ve lingered longer.
