A blend of chamomile and oat straw. Unpopular opinion, but a French press is the ideal way to make loose leaf tea because provided you left the tea settled to the bottom. The plunger filters out all of the tea leaves when you pour.
i’m trying to condition myself to go to bed because I just started tracking my time and it is depressing and humbling how little I have accomplished in the last nine hours of the day. It’s made me a little bit depressed and so I’m just gonna get what I can done today and try to be better tomorrow. In nine hours all I did was watch an hour of a movie and read 20 pages. That’s it. I don’t know how I managed to dither that much and accomplish so little.

Oat Straw: A Tonic Delight
Oatstraw has been a favorite herb of mine since I first read Susan Weed's book Healing Wise. It has a sweetness to it that lends itself well to a daily infusion. It's the perfect thing when stressed, tired, and worn out. If "frazzled" describes your current state, I would highly recommend it.
Avena sativa (cultivated oats); Avina fatua (wild oats)
Parts Used: Stems, leafy tops, seeds
Medicinal Properties: Nerve tonic, demulcent, emollient, mild cardio-tonic, mild antidepressant, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, gentle relaxant/stimulant, nutritive.
Common Preparations: Overnight Infusion, Tea Blends, Bath Infusion, Tincture, Skincare Products
Summary: A tonic herb, Oat Straw is safe for everyday use. It can be used both internally and externally for a soothing effect on the nervous system. Rich in calcium and magnesium, it fortifies general well-being. Many have found it helpful when consumed daily as a tea for nervous fatigue and depression where anxiety is the underlying cause.
