I have this kinda sorta hc that when Percy reunited with all of his friends at Camp Half-Blood after BoO, they were sorta shocked at first, because he looks so different (taller, stronger, he has a fucking tattoo, older, y’know?) and I just imagine that interaction going like:

Probably Grover or someone: Percy you...you look so...you’ve changed a lot, huh?

Percy, looking around for a moment in confusion, completely oblivious to the point: uh yeah, I think I got a darker tan when we went to Greece
