I actually think Percy and Will would get along perfectly well. Like their chemistry would be on fire, and they would just click. Because their characters are actually very similar, the way they both had to take on a big responsibility at a young age, because no one else could, and also they wouldn't let the others to carry the burden either (Percy taking the weight of the prophecy on himself because he didn't want Nico to carry the burden after Thalia became a hunter and Will taking the weight of being the counsellor and the sole medic of the camp so that his younger siblings would not have to after his older brothers died in the battle.).

They both have a golden retriever energy, but inside they both have heavy suppressed trauma they hide behind the mask that 'everything is fine' and both of them are five seconds away from a crashout. If you cross a line, they both flip out and have an angry episode. Also they are both overly protective over their significant others (wink wink). They both are their father's favorites and they both have a good relationship with their mothers.

They both fell in love with someone who other people perceived as scary and hard to manage. And they both didn't hesitate to follow them to Tartarus.

Also they are the hottest two men in the camp lol. Just look how Will is described in Tower of Nero when he was taking his shirt off. Also his father is Apollo, aka the hottest god ever. We already know Percy's levels of attractiveness.

Besides I really don't think Will blames Percy for what happened to Michael. That being said, Will and Percy would get along a lot better than Will-Annabeth or Nico-Percy dynamics. And Nico and Annabeth would also get along better too.

Meaning they should start going to double dates AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Thank you for the ted talk.

y'all love to paint it like Luke has been redeemed for everything he has ever done in everyone's eyes after he killed himself to stop Kronos, but forget that both Percy and Annabeth were so traumatised from him still to get so uneasy and uncomfortable around Octavian and Jason respectively because they reminded them of Luke even if it was only in the apparence. Percy didn't even remember Luke because his memory was wiped but he still had a big enough subconscious trauma that he got uneasy around Octavian because he reminded him of Luke.

Have you ever noticed how Will has Halt's attitude and disregard for all kinds of rules but has Crowley's short redhead temper so when combined he is the most ruthless one out of all of them in his missions. And I think this is really cool because one, Halt is the one who looks the scariest but Will is the one that is colder and angrier when they face with an enemy (just think how he reacted to John Buttle and the Genovesan that poisoned Halt), and two, he truly is like the biological son of Halt and Crowley, it is insane lol.

Unpopular Percy Jackson Opinions:

Reyna and Jason had such an insane amount of potential storyline where Jason could have understood he has been in love with Reyna before Hera erased his memories as the story progressed, and Piper discovering she is into girls would make more sense too. The storyline we got was a complete and utter waste of Jason's character.

Given that, I do think Reyna should have ended up with Thalia because doomed lovers and ex-situationship with her brother tropes would go so hard, also because it would be the only saving grace of the absolute shit decision of Reyna joining the hunters.

Nico is the one who always struggles with his morals and questions most if he is a bad person in the books, but Percy is actually the one that has the most grey morals out of all characters. Everything Nico has a dilemma inside fearing he is a bad person, Percy stayed in a position to do it or at least thought to do it without hesitation.

Luke developed romantic feelings for Annabeth, yes it was very disturbing and completely disgusting, but it happened, and that actually makes the foundation of the main conflict between Percy and Annabeth in BOTL and TLO, and I hate it when people act like this never happened and try to enforce that he only thought of her as his sister. It was twisted and gross but disregarding this takes away from Luke's character too because in the end, he actually became a horrible person and he accepted to die because he realised that in the end. Silena was also a minor when he started manipulating her sexually, why is this not ignored but his disgusting feelings for Annabeth is?

There is no way Percy's highly suicidal feelings went away on their own because in the new books it is obvious he doesn't talk about his feelings, especially to Annabeth. And this will blow up very badly if he keeps shoving the feelings down, but it is obvious Rick will not give ANY emotionally depth storylines in the last book because for some reason he lost the ability to write deeper scenes with deeper feelings.

I still can't believe that the Percy that went all berserk on Nico because he betrayed him in TLO and whose only line that can't be crossed is betrayal and stabbing in the back didn't go crazy the moment he saw Calypso again because of the curse she put on Annabeth and confronted her properly. That was probably the most out of character thing he did.

I have this headcanon that Will loves to make small talk with everyone he meets because he is our baby extrovert sunshine boy, but the only one he doesn't do small talk is Halt because he knows Halt doesn't do small talk. So when he causes trouble or gets himself into trouble, Will decides to randomly make small talk with Halt,it is like a game he plays. It becomes like a thing between them like:

*going to Araluen Castle to meet with Crowley for some reports*

Will: ...

Halt: ...

Will: How lovely is the weather today!

Halt: ??

*the inn behind them exploding*

Will had never experienced this kind of excruciating pain in his life. He had been stabbed before, sure, even though it was very mild. But it didn't hurt like this. His ears started ringing. He barely registered a lot of people shouting and he saw Annabeth or someone else disintegrating the monster that attacked him and his claws in his stomach also disappeared but then the blood started to gush out and Will fell backwards, feeling someone catching him, holding him tight from behind.

He registered being lied to the ground slowly, someone calling for help, for a medic. Ironic, because Will was the medic of the camp. He felt blood coming out of his mouth as he started to cough, and he felt trembling hands wandering all over his body, then on his face, and his eyes cleared to see Nico’s face, leaning on him, looking horrified and shaking, distraught.

He was pushing the hair sticking to his forehead away from his face, wiping the blood on the corner of his lips, and his hands were shaking so much, covered with his blood. Will couldn't hear him very well, but he was talking constantly. Like he was begging him. There were tears on his eyes, rolling one by one but his trembling hands kept on caressing his face, wiping away the blood. He realised Annabeth was also there, pressing to his wound with a t-shirt, trying to keep the blood in. Her face was white and grim, too, and she was calling for someone, he guessed one of the other healer kids in the cabin.

But Will knew a bad wound when he saw one. He knew this was one.

The ringing in his ears popped off a bit, and he started hearing things a bit again. Nico, his hands desperately trying to soothe him, on his face, looked like he was full-on crying now. He realised there was blood all over his hands and chest, and realized it was his blood.

“...hold on. Will, you have to hold on, can you hear me? Percy is calling Apollo here. We will get you patched up, yeah? Will, please, Gods, please, don't you dare die. Don't you dare. I am sorry, I am so, so sorry, I should have come sooner, fuck, I should have never left… I swear I will never leave you again. Please, please stay alive. Stay with me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me, you wouldn't do that, right? You are not like me. Please. Please, Will… Please don’t leave me. I love you, Will. I love you so much. I love you. I love you.” Nico said, breath coming in short in tears and a broken voice.

Will, however, had the ringing in his ears back. He had stopped hearing Nico again long before he started saying he loved him. He felt the darkness surround him as he, for the first time in his life, actually welcomed it.

... I really am wondering whose bright idea was that because I really thought they at least wouldn't fuck up Nico's character.
