Okay so I need to know am I blind or is fandom majorly exaggerated the stancy thing like not saying Steve still being interested and showing it isn't weird but it's not as obvious as people act it is like I thought it was gonna be so much worse while it's just him showing a little more care and needing Nancy's validation (again not normal but way more subtle than people acted like it was)
Also with Jonathan Steve wasn't wrong Jonathan is basically planning out major things in his relationship just based of what Steve might do Murry clearly stated that Jonathan asked for the ring in fear of there being a competition while we all know that's definitely not what Nancy wants which he obviously does too from how well he knows her as he showed in most of volume 1
