Sneaking Out
Solomon x F!Reader
IN WHICH... You sneak out to see Solomon. The demon brothers aren't happy.
TW: Possessive brothers (?), Solomon and Reader kind of have a secret relationship, kidnapping mention, mostly crack, She / Her pronouns, NOT Proofread.
A/N: This request was so cute!!!! ❤︎ ya!
The portal to the human realm swirled open, casting a neon light against your face. Particles, of what you could only assume to be pure magic, kissed at your soft skin.
You weren't supposed to be here. You probably weren't supposed to even see this portal again after you permanently moved to hell. Curse the demon brothers and their possessiveness.
Originally you were okay with that; fine with the idea of staying with demons that cherished you. Loose ties that held you do the human realm weren't strong enough to pull you away.
Except for one.
Solomon.
You clutched at the cold pendant around your neck, one that the wizard gifted you the last time you two met in The Devildom, running your fingers over the intricate details.
It held a powerful magic, one that let you open conjoining portals every once in a while. Helpful for when you need to get back to The House of Lamentation quickly.
You took once last breath of The Devildoms harsh air, preparing yourself for the lack of oxygen inside the green mass, before stepping in.
The portals magic was cool. Untouched of the warmth that radiates from human skin. But once it touched your bare flesh, it grew hot.
What felt like flames ingulfed you, nipping at your legs as it rises. Your closed eyes start to tear up, making you clench them even harder. This feeling was the price to pay to see him. A price you'd pay over and over again.
Once it was done, the imaginary fire sizzling down to your feet, you let out a breath. Your eyes opened on their own, like they always do, and allowing you to see the beauty of the human realm.
The air felt clearer, much contrast to the stuffiness of The Devildom. Flowers danced in the midnight breeze as night birds sung their tune in to the dark sky. A song not many people have the chance to hear.
Your loose tie to the human realm stood in front of you. His white hair practically beaming under the moons blinding light, arms outstretched in anticipation. His cape swayed behind him, the blue to white gradient resembling the otherworldly space above.
Your feet reacted before you could, and soon you were rapped up in his arms. He smelt like smoke and mint, a beautiful combination that's uniquely his.
And his warmth was incredible, torso hot and firm against your cold cheek. Demons were great of course, but nothing could compare to the comforting heat of a human's hug. Of Solomon's hug.
He pulled back to stare at you, grey eyes flickering back and forth over your face. His thumb glided across the ridge of your eye, catching unwiped tears caused by the portal.
Solomon took your hand in his, fingers intertwined and palms pressed together, guiding you to the tip edge of the cliff. The water below lazily waved to you. The area was truly enchanting, and it made you wonder how Solomon found it.
He sat you down with a gentlemanly kiss to your hand, one that made butterflies erupt in your stomach, before taking a seat next to you.
You let your head gravitate to his shoulder, a normal position for you two to be found in. Solomon took the closest corner of his cape and wrapped the warm fabric across your body.
No words were spoken. Just a gentle silence that caught the blooming love you had for each other. Your eyes fluttered closed, letting the wind whistle across the dark night sky.
All was calm.
The brothers were panicking.
Never had you ever gone somewhere without telling someone. So when Mammon came barging in your room complaining about RAD, there was only one possible conclusion.
You had been kidnapped!
Lucifer, Mammon, and Levi ran around town; searching every nook and cranny of The Devildom in hopes of finding you.
Satan and Asmo stayed back at the House of Lamentation, using their professional detective skills to locate you.
Beel and Belphie asked around, begging anyone you knew to fess up to where you've gone.
But they all turned up empty handed, the fruitless search concluding into them sitting in the living room. Multiple legs bouncing up and down, Lucifer clutching his hair as he searched his mind.
Belphie lazed against Beel, squirming around in his spot like he was having a horrific nightmare.
Until he stopped.
The youngest brother shot up, clutching at his chest like he just ran a marathon. His curly horns were sprouting from his head as his tails started to wrap around himself.
Whatever he saw scared him considering his demon form, and it got the attention of his brothers.
Belphie barely parts his dry lips, fangs peaking out as he utters a single, familiar name. One that sent shivers down their inhuman spines;
"Solomon."
Your eyes finally creaked open once they registered a noise coming from the glowing portal, and when you looked over you shoulder, you froze in fear.
7 brothers, angry and demonized, rushed through the portal; as if the fiery feeling didn't effect them. Though, you wouldn't be surprised it if didn't. They are demons afterall.
Lucifer was first, his younger brothers fanning out behind him, making them look more like a flock of birds migrating than a pack of furious princes.
"Solomon. Why did you kidnap her?"
The raventtes voice rung out across the trees surrounding you. The birds stopping their soft chirps as the cold wind grew chillier with his presence. You figured every animal for miles stopped in their tracks.
"Kidnap her? Is that what you think?" Solomon berated with a laugh, standing up and offering a soft hand to you.
"Lucifer, he didn't--" You tried to speak.
"Don't talk." The demon cut you off, threatening a step closer to the wizard. His six wings shielding you two off from any escape route you may have conjured.
Mammon and Levi stood beside him like bodyguards. They were silent for the first time in their immortal lives. The other brothers hung back, waiting for this to play out before they interrupt.
Lucifer watched your pendant rest against your rising chest, before making eye contact with Solomon and piecing the puzzle together.
You were never kidnapped, and especially not by Solomon of all people. You snuck out.
The eldest gritted his fangs, eyes clenched together. He could feel a headache already forming. His wings grew smaller as they neatly folded back behind him.
He held a hand out behind him, letting his brothers relax-- just slightly.
"Y/N. Did you... sneak out?"
You watched as his younger siblings finally realized what was happening, watching as the tensed back up and waited for your answer.
"Yes."
You were locked in your room.
'A punishment for sneaking out.' Lucifer said before closing your door. Really, this felt more like a time out from when you were a child. Your hands glided against silk sheets Asmo forced you to buy as you sunk into bed.
You hadn't seen anyone besides the brothers for a day or two, and If your punishment keeps up any longer, you may just go insane.
But, before you could get some rest, your pendant started to glow a neon green; something similar to the portal. Buzzing met your ears as you watched it shake uncontrollably.
You know what this meant. Solomon wants to see you.
And who are you to keep him waiting?
