❥Kikuyo grew up with Kuroko since childhood because their mothers are besties.

❥She was also neighbors with Reo from a very young age, and the two of them practically grew up together.

❥Kikuyo has always had a bright and energetic personality, and she cares deeply about the people around her.

❥Ever since she was little, she had been a very free-spirited and curious girl.

❥There was barely any hobby, form of art, or sport she hadn’t tried at least once. Her family never had a problem with how often she jumped from one interest to another because they simply wanted her to find something she truly loved.

❥Out of all the arts she explored, painting became the one closest to her heart.

❥Among sports, she fell in love with dancing.

❥Since childhood, Kikuyo adored princess stories, fairy tales, and surreal fantasy worlds.

❥Her favorite thing to watch was Tinker Bell.

❥She inherited her love for flowers and gardening from her mother, who loved nature and flowers just as much as she did.

❥Kikuyo works part-time at a flower shop, a place that suits her perfectly because of how deeply she loves flowers and nature.

❥She also runs a social media page where she shares information about flowers and gardening. Alongside that, she posts parts of her daily life, her paintings, dancing videos, photography, and even silly videos.

❥ Because of her bright personality, aesthetic lifestyle, and genuine warmth, she gained a large following online.

❥Several entertainment companies approached Kikuyo multiple times and offered her opportunities to become an idol. However, she rejected every single offer.

✠Kikuyo has a younger brother named Haru, who is eight years younger than her.

✠Her father, Arai Kiesuke, originally had the family name Isogai, but after marriage, he took his wife’s surname.

✠Kikuyo’s father loves his family deeply and never allowed them to feel lacking in anything. Because of that, Kikuyo grew up with high standards and never cared much about other people’s wealth. Instead, she came to believe that love was the most important thing in life.

✠Kikuyo’s room has the atmosphere of a fairy forest. She even has a special art studio that looks like it came straight out of an enchanted woodland, and her father personally built it for her.

ミAzumane Saki had been Kikuyo’s best friend since elementary school.

ミKikuyo loved Saki dearly, and those feelings were completely mutual.

ミ Saki loved capturing beautiful things through photography and dreamed of becoming a photographer in the future.

ミHowever, she grew up in an extremely strict and perfectionist household.

ミ As she got older, the pressure only became worse, and it pushed her into severe depression. It affected her mental state so deeply that she constantly believed she was worthless unless she was perfect.

ミEventually, things became so bad that Saki attempted to take her own life.

ミEver since then, Kikuyo has carried endless guilt for not realizing how badly Saki was suffering sooner.

ミThe camera Kikuyo owns now originally belonged to Saki.

ミIn a way, Kikuyo continues Saki’s dream by using it to capture beautiful moments and scenery in her place.

ミWhenever she met someone who reminded her of Saki, even if she had no personal connection to them, she always tried to help.

ミDuring their first year, Akashi reminded her of Saki more than anyone else. That was why she wanted to understand him better.

ミBefore everything happened, Saki had gifted Kikuyo a sunflower hairpin and bracelet because she always believed Kikuyo resembled a sunflower—bright, warm, and always reaching toward the light.

❖ 𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 ❖

࿇Kikuyo never painted to become famous.

࿇She isn’t trying to “be an artist”

࿇ she’s simply bringing the worlds inside her mind to life. That’s why her art never feels commercial. When people look at it, it doesn’t feel like:

“This was made to become famous.”

It feels like:

“This is genuinely a part of her soul.”

And usually, those are the kinds of artists who unexpectedly become famous, because people can tell the feeling isn’t fake.

࿇At first, Kikuyo just posted random things:

a painting she finished at midnight

videos of paint covering her hands

flowers she found

sketchbook pages

blurry photos of rain

With simple captions like:

“I saw this place in a dream.”

“I wanna reborn as a fairy in my next life.”

“I tried to capture a feeling, not a place.”

And somehow, people slowly started connecting with her.

࿇Especially because of how warm and sincere she is, her followers don’t feel like they’re watching a celebrity — they feel like they’re following a real person and the beautiful little world around her.

࿇ there’s something poetic about the fact that Saki wanted to capture the beauty of the world… and now Kikuyo continues doing exactly that through Saki’s camera and her own paintings.

It’s almost like a part of Saki is still alive inside her art and that’s what allows them to stay connected, even across two different worlds.
