OUT OF TIME / 2025
UP TO THREE DAYS AGO, she used to work at the National Museum of Fine Arts and she told you what happened to her, you wouldn't believe her. But here it goes : three days ago the museum received a shipment from Kyoto, Japan containing a watercolor painting and a sword. Three days ago she was working her first serious job. Now she's in the outskirts of Kyoto, Japan. Four hundred years ago. In a time when there were no foreigners in Japan and she was very much a foreigner.
Her only clue there was any life beyond face-hiding veils was the very sword that brought her here, a sword belonging to Mizu, a man that with every minute they spend together reveals himself to as violent and as mysterious but not as devilish as he first seemed.
THE QUESTION OF WHY Mizu has allowed that strange creature, fallen from the sky like the metal of her sword was unanswered even for themselves. That woman was dangerous by her very nature, brash and nothing like they ever seen. And yet, they found themselves helping blend in veils and long robes. Not having in them to leave the woman who claimed to come from a place so far into the future it sounded mythical.
