Hyancith lore very quick:

Theyre half gear, literally born to be experimented on.

Their gear turning process was slow, it took the cientists 6 years (they started to get actually experimented on at age 6). It was that slow because they were a child & the doctors werent as brutal, specially because they did not want to awaken "justice's will" in them, trying not to awake this hatred towards humanity. Cith were meant to be a "healing gear". Well it did not work.

The moment Hyancith actually became a gear they immediatly feel into justice's influence and killed EVERYONE at the facility, including their parents. Once they were finished they felt so much guilt, they decided to selfinduce cryogenisis expecting to turn braindead in some years.

10 or 8 years after this incident (strive era) they woke up, the ice melted and they were indeed alive. Seeing everyone's corpse around the facility while they were walking around (the amount of time in "coma" messed up with their memory) the realization hits. Scared and almost throwing up they run until they find a overgrown room, there they find out they can "transport" themself by plants. Thats how they scape.

After wandering around and trying their best to find a way to atone for their sins, they find the forest of demons and decides to sattle down there. Its a forest, some creature is surely coming to kill them soner or later. Or they'll die of hunger, which is also aceptable for them.

Anyway, Testament during one of their walks to check on the grove, feels a different presence, ready for combat they announce their presence to the intruder; only to be suprised with a child's voice.

What i have to say is: Testament slowly becomes Hyancith's parental figure, they take really good care of this kid.
