Well anyways I made Esme and Charlotte in artbreeder to the best of my ability

going to sit here and hc that after the crime that was the haunted house experience with Esme and Mason, they wander out to find the rest of Unit Bravo and Felix immediately points out how interesting it is that Esme’s pretty plum shade of lipstick she’d worn that night seems to have found it’s way onto Mason’s neck and jaw and even his lips like he’d probably managed to wipe most of it off but not all.

Esme feels like she’s going to die before finally laughing, Nate is aghast bc he realizes what they’ve done, Adam gives Mason a very stern look, and Mason grins like a bastard while saying that it’s his new favorite color.

i just love Esme so much. The snarky/clumsy/sweetheart energies she radiates probably made UB think she would be a liability, but she was immediately snapping at Adam to let her do her job and at Mason for being needlessly mean about things. And she definitely broke murphy’s nose and then electrocuted a man in book 2. Queen of many talents.

Esme 🍓 ! Please :)

🍓  - Honestly, she never really got easily spooked or had many phobias aside from being jumpy when in a tense situation, but just about everyone is like that. Even when finding out that she was Special, the Murphy ordeal seemed almost outlandish to her that it didn’t fully register until what happened at the end of book 1. That whole situation left her feeling so powerless and exposed her to so much weird shit that she’s pretty much walking a tightrope of anxiety. 

She doesn’t sleep as well, tends to keep some form of small/dim light in every room, and freezes up if she gets triggered into remembering what happened whether through discussions or just a sound or sight of something. She also used to want to get a tattoo finished up but can’t bear the thought of needles anymore so it’s probably going to be black ink for the foreseeable future.

🍓🍓 Esme, please!

🍓 - Esme played baseball for years while in school. She played catcher (sometimes second baseman) and and batter. It makes her sad that she doesn’t really play anymore but sometimes she’ll drop by any little local sports events to enjoy the atmosphere of it. (I really want to hc that Verda’s daughter plays little league so sometimes Esme joins him and Eric to cheer her on 😭 and probably even helps her with her stances and grip)

🍓 - She's defensive of her car only because she bought it when she was 19 and it was the first thing she felt she super earned. Yes, it’s almost as old as her and yes, the key gets stuck in the ignition sometimes and the back passenger door doesn’t close properly unless you slam it 3 times, the trunk pops open randomly in the summer, but it hasn’t broken down on her before in the 6 years she’s had owning it so it’s special. That being said, she’s absolutely not going to protest the day that she gets a new one - as long as her piece of junk gets a respectable funeral.
