Came across a vessel oc here on tumblr that looked a lot like mine. Too much, actually. i didnt know they existed until a few days ago but the fact these two have damage to the same side of their heads was... odd.

Left is Penumbra, right is Crypt, who belongs to @zombugz (my apologies; even if it was coincidence i still feel bad that i used your idea)

I decided to change penumbra's design to look less like crypt, as they'd been made years ago and i dont want it to feel like im plagarizing them. Plagarism is bad kids.

Crypt’s human and creature forms get a little mixed up sometimes

Looking at reticulated python bites for scar references for Crypt. Styx bit him (consensually) on his arm. The aftermath was… well, I’m looking at references now and… holy shit retics have big teeth. And Styx is larger than any normal python…

While the bite did sever an artery and cause Crypt to bleed to death, that part was accidental. Styx did not realize that biting someone who can fit in his mouth would… well… kill him.

Styx is cute, but maybe not the brightest guy. To be fair, though, he often forgets just how fucking strong he is. And how breakable everyone else is
