Are y'all aware the protests in LA never stopped? The ICE raids never stopped? They're taking CITIZENS off the streets for nothing more than the color of their skin.

The Medinas are just one example out of many.

They are not just targeting 'criminals.' They are targeting and detaining our Hispanic neighbors indiscriminately.

LA is making so much noise and being heard so little. How much more is being done in the quiet and less observed portions of this country?

Six Occupy ICE protesters charged in federal court reach settlement, avoid criminal convictions

The six have agreed to each pay $100 fines, complete 10 hours of community service by the end of this year and stay at least 200 feet away f

"Ted Wheeler made the CHOICE to order riot cops to conduct a violent operation to shut down Occupy ICE. The State and the City could have chosen to support the camp, to applaud the ingenuity of community gardens, composting toilets, child care, free medical and mental health services for those who needed them, food for the hungry, and a demonstration of solidarity with migrants and houseless people. The City could have shown its gratitude for the creativity of this community and could have worked WITH the community. Instead, Wheeler chose to spend $1.8 million smashing protest and exerting power over a group of non-violent citizens. Wheeler deployed guns, batons, tazers, and military equipment against unarmed, unprotected protesters. When the US Attorney tells us the cost of this operation, lay the responsibility where it belongs: on the mayor's shoulders, not on the protesters."

Portland, Oregon protestors managed to shut down their ICE office. We are going to try to do the same in Seattle, starting Sunday 6/24.

How to help:

Show up at the Downtown Seattle and Tukwila locations ready to occupy.

Bring supplies to support occupiers (food, water, trash bags, blankets, pillows, chairs, rain gear, sunblock, etc.).

ICE Protesters – Portland Biohazard

Police finally were able to remove the ICE protesters from their perch in Portland, after they totally ignored the Mayor’s request to leave on Monday, according to Fox. Protesters were told they would be subject to arrest if they remained on Tuesday. What they left behind was considered a “biohazard.”
