The ocean rocks
Everyone talks about the moon and sun, romanticizing them, but how can you not speak of the ocean and the moon, how tide is in love with moon, it's pull magnetic...~
The ebb and flow of the tides mirror the ebb and flow of this life
the highs and the lows all serve their purpose, just remember to let them. If you go against the flow for too long, the waves will take you under
The tide is not here to drown you, but only to teach you how to swim
My love
Like the ocean waves
Like the night's cool high tide breeze
In sudden burts
And then retreating
just the same
But always
Always
Coming back
As sure as the day and night
With the
Rapid, slow
Rhythm
Of my rising tide
Still
Beating, beating, beating
Lies my heart
Beach Daze.

Exploring the seven principles of Kybalion
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲: 𝗥𝗵𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗺
"𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘴, 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯; 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴."
The fifth Hermetic Principle is Rhythm. It teaches that all things move like a pendulum—swinging between extremes, flowing in cycles and seasons. 🌱 🍁
Fortunes wax and wane, emotions swell and recede, and circumstances shift like the tides. In the external world, this is unmistakable—the day follows the night, seasons turn in endless procession, the phases of the moon, and even galaxies expand and contract in cosmic rhythms. Within us, the same pendulum swings and even the ups and downs of our moods reflect this law: enthusiasm may give way to fatigue, clarity to confusion, joy to melancholy. 💫
Yet, the Kybalion reminds us that rhythm should not be mistaken for fatalism. The movement is real, but identification with the swing is optional. If we do not activate our awareness, we become subject to the mechanical oscillations that govern ordinary existence.
The task, therefore, is to observe the rhythm rather than be moved blindly by it. To witness the pendulum from a higher point of awareness is to realize that the swing does not alter the witness itself. This is the beginning of mastery. Instead of clinging to the high phases or fearing the lows, one learns to remain centered—understanding that both are temporary expressions of a deeper process. 🔮
By contemplating the rise without elation and the fall without despair, we cease to be slaves to emotional automatism. Rhythm continues, but we no longer “ride” it unconsciously. Instead, we stand in a stillness that watches the motion—free within the law, rather than subject to it.
✨ Reflection: Remember: your emotions may rise and fall, but you are not the swing. Stay present, observe the movement, and rest in the still point within.
