HS-3 Tridents SH-60F Seahawk by Mad physicist http://flic.kr/p/PEfcVq
Me @ two characters who have never interacted onscreen: They’re so fucking in love.
If you take anything away from my OceanHawk nonsense, let if be the knowledge that Shayera introduces herself by way of dropping down from a few stories in the air and saying, “You’re the one who threw all that trash out of the ocean, right? Baller move.”
(Hal in the background, like, “People died, Shayera.”)
Number of friends I'm currently not-so-secretly indoctrinating into OceanHawk: 3
Periodic reminder that not only do I ship two comic book characters who I don’t believe have ever properly met in any continuity, I specifically ship two heavily personalized versions of them based on portrayals from two entirely separate continuities.
Anyway, OceanHawk supremacy. 🌊🦅
Interrupting my usual programming to offer you a soft OceanHawk moment.
Shayera using her wing to shield Orm from the sun while on a mission in an arid climate.
I’ve always imagined Thanagar to have a harsher environment, so Shayera’s accustomed to desert regions, but Orm is built for the deep, dark sea.
I want to adapt Baby Starro in a Jar for Earth-24, likely as the last surviving spore after the others and the original have been defeated/wiped out.
But Batman doesn’t get him. Bruce has enough kids.
Orm takes him in.
Orm and Shayera legitimately consider him their second child* and don’t really see anything weird about it because as an alien and an Atlantean, a sentient starfish is literally just a person to them.
*(They’ve got a kid, might not have mentioned her before.)
