Ok, hang on. I have a really stupid idea for an MHA fic. I'm calling it "Background Harem Protagonist Uraraka."
Just stick with me on this.
So the main plot is your bog standard MLM ship falling in love story. Can be literally any ship, as long as it's MLM (you'll get why in a sec). Preferably, the fic should be at least somewhat in-depth, but it doesn't need to be super scrutinous with the details of the main plot. What's actually important is what's happening in the background during the fic. Essentially, at every plot event the two guys go to, Uraraka (doesn't necessarily have to be Uraraka but I want it to be because I think it would be funny) is there, making out with a girl. And it's never more than a passing mention. Basically:
Guy 1: "Hey, it's Uraraka. We should go say hi."
*brief narration describing Uraraka making out with another girl*
Guy 2: "Nah, she looks busy."
And that's it. They just move on.
Now, here's the real kicker for this joke. Every time this happens, the girl Uraraka is kissing is different. And this is never commented on by the two guys. They never say anything about the girl being different each time. Just: "hey, it's Uraraka," "oh she looks busy," and that's it.
Also, there should be a bit where the two guys see Uraraka kissing a girl, then later run into that girl who offhandedly mentions being in a relationship with a different girl, and then the next time the guys see Uraraka, she making out with that different girl.
The final scene of the fic is the two guys in the dorm's living room or kitchen, having their big heartfelt confession only to be interrupted by a noise. They turn to see Toga (who has not appeared in the fic up till this point) sneaking in through the window. The interaction then goes as follows:
Guy 1: "Oh, hi Toga."
Toga: "Hey. Could you guys tell me where Ochako’s room is."
Guy 2: "Oh yeah, it's [whatever room Uraraka is in]."
Toga: "Thanks."
Both guys: "No problem."
And then Toga heads off to Uraraka's room, and both guys go back to their confession. Only after their done confessing their feelings does one of them go "hey wait, what the fuck, that was a villain" and then they both rush upstairs to Uraraka's room and burst in to find Uraraka, laying on her bed, surrounded by all the girls she's been making out with throughout the fic. And both guys are just like, "Oh yeah, that makes sense," and then they leave, and that's where the fic ends.
Look, I know this is stupid, but I just really want to give Uraraka a harem of girls who all love her. She's been stuck in comphet for so long that she needs to go so far the other way that she acquires every girl ever as her girlfriend.
"Damn." Uraraka hissed. "DOUBLE damn! The fog bank! It's too dim to see. I'll never be able to steal Christmas in weather like this!"
"Wow, yeah." Hatsume remarked. Her eyes were projecting high-intensity light beams as she looked around. "You can barely see your hand in front of your face."
"…Hatsume."
"Hm?"
"What's that?" Uraraka pointed to Hatsume's eyes.
"Oh, these?" Hatsume turned to look at Uraraka.
"WAUGH!"
"Oh, yeah, this is just something that happens in low-light settings." Hatsume shrugged. "I can't turn it off. I think it's like, auto-adjustable?"
"It isn't a baby?" Uraraka asked the first question she thought of. "Like, you didn't replace your tear ducts with headlights?"
"Oh, no." Hatsume shook her head. "I'm not nearly qualified to perform surgery on myself."
"Huh. Okay then." Uraraka nodded to herself. She thought a bit, and then, slowly, got down on one knee. "Hatsume, with your eyes so bright…" She took Hatsume's hand into her own. "Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
Hatsume's face lit up. "Oh, uh, that's, I… Wow, you're a gal that moves fast, aintcha?"
