I love drawing trees too! It's very soothing

yeah! the good thing with trees is that there’s no really wrong way to draw one?? lines can go pretty much wherever they want you can always work with them (if that makes sense). i feel that with rocks and mountains too, they let you draw ‘mistakes’ that you can easily manage and it’s really relaxing to not bother too much about symmetry and stuff like that and still being able to produce something nice.

6: do you keep plants?

I’m pretty terrible at keeping plants alive for more than a year at a time, though I did manage to resurrect my room mate’s abandoned basil and strawberry plants. The basil died during the winter, but the little strawberry is still kickin’ it! It’s probably been around for about 2 years now? I even replanted it in a bigger bin that I made out of an empty kitty-litter container. It seems to be doing pretty well, and it makes the tiniest, sweetest strawberries.

12: what's your favorite planet?

I can always find Venus pretty easily with the naked eye, but my favorite planet is probably Neptune, mostly because I like thinking about it’s frozen methane oceans and all the eldrich abominations that could be living below it’s surface AS WE SPEAK: Giant, hyperintelligent squidgods who love to do math and sing like whalesong and never hurt anybody anymore. I’m thinking about it. It soothes me.

AHHH it’s @ocicatsy ‘s birthday today (her for-real birthday) and I made her a thing! Because we’re kinda obsessed with Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (and specifically Battle Tendency because of these dorks), I kinda made a comic! Which is rare for me nowadays, but birthdays bring out my arty-side. :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY BB! all the cake and caejose for youuuu~
