Paraskavedekatriaphobia is the fear of Friday the 13th.
I've been incredibly starved for verbal connection this year. In the replies, could yall please share an odd fact you think is cool?
I don't care if it doesn't seem worth bringing up or if you think it's not cool enough.
Please fill my silence. I'm so lonely, and even if it's just words on a screen, it feels like my hand isn't empty when I'm learning.
(If you don't have the spoons, don't feel obligated but... I just wanted to hold hands in this lonely cold world for a minute.. for morale...))
This will come in handy when anti-tank missiles are being fired at you. Not the best time to do a crossword and get a cup of tea 🙄
Weird obsessions
Does anyone have any crazy obsessions that they know like everything about? Mine are crows, Greek mythology, and the stormlight archives.

I made the flute I'm playing myself in 2019 when the flute I made before it broke as the result of using it in the river to wade around for agates and that is a fact.
I hate wearing shoes and sox but have a bit of surgical nerve damage in my right foot and I'm diabetic so I've been sentenced to life in shoes without parole.
I've been writing Haiku since 1973. It started as a way to distill complex thoughts and emotions down into bight sized packages I could understand and deal with.
TIL about “Nutbush City Limits” a song by Tina Turner, quite the jam and the comments were filled with Australians who love it.
It’s really popular there because they made The Nutbush (line dance) to go with it and kids learn it like the Macarena.
and the fun part is the rest of the world has no clue what they’re talking about. there’s a Limmy sketch and a Glee performance and neither do “The Nutbush”.
Okay, something very light and fluffy, because we really all need a break.
The other night while trying to remember Post Ranch Inn, I was looking around at old websites. I found some old Google sites site that looked like it was from about 2011, and had a whole bunch of random facts on it. Most of them were very familiar and well-known.
But, there were two things that made me go, wow, really?
Number One:
Okay, well, huh, never heard that, but honestly I've yet to see any press from London. So, I guess Mr. I Don't Believe in Method Acting decided to try it at least once. But, yeah, I'd also seem like a messed up junkie if I was neither eating nor sleeping.
Number Two:
God, I so want this to be true.
Please, please Universe - let this be true.
Interesting. The names of things we rarely think about labeling. Or just didn't know the name for it.
Do you have one that isn't listed here?
