Lee Felix in Venom (2022)
Oddinary Era 220402
i'm genuinely worried for stray kids. now they've been announced to compete in the idol star athletic championships, literally 3 days after their final tour stop in japan, only to come back to america mid-august to do kcon LA. not to mention, magazine photoshoots, press junkets, interviews we haven't even seen yet, their alleged september comeback which means they will most likely be working through all of august. in the 2 kids room episode with chan and seungmin, seungmin recounted that chan burst into tears while they were out to eat from feeling overworked. chan's work ethic and lack of sleep schedule and questionable dieting habits are often romanticized and used as a quirky personality traits when, in reality, it's quite frightening that a 26 year old has this much weight on his shoulders. minho was reportedly collapsing backstage during the first stops of their american tour, and has been literally shown collapsing before after performances. we also can't forget, felix has a whole herniated disk injury that he got maybe a 2 month break off performing with that we know of (companies have lied before, such as taeyong's hip injury). also chan never misses a channie's room even if he really should just rest, while channie's room gets full of more and more demanding and strange people to the point of him barely acknowledging english comments. JYPE loves to overwork his groups, it wouldn't shock me if one or more of them ended up on a medical or mental health hiatus soon, this whole thing is worrying

ODDINARY, Stray Kids' 6th EP, was released on March 18 2022. This was their first EP under Republic Records, which meant it was released on a Friday, allowing for a full week of tracking on major international streaming platforms.
