I’m Confused

There are people that are anti Irondad?! And acting like Tony is abusive towards Peter?? And I’m so confused?? Like Tony and Peter are probably one of the most compelling and amazing platonic relationships in the MCU. What the heck?!

I’ve dealt with an abusive dad, and the way Tony treats Peter in the MCU films is not abusive. Tony is supportive and genuinely cares about Peter. And I know Ben was Peters father figure and people want to say that Tony is replacing him but Tony is not trying to replace Ben, and Peter doesn’t want him to.

Just because you hate Tony doesn’t mean you have to come up with excuses to hate one of the most well done dynamics in the MCU, and call Tony an abuser when he’s clearly not.

Edit: I know this post sounds a bit harsh, but I am open to other interpretations and opinions😃
