It's cool, don't panic, darlin'
The Tomb of Sand [28×54] by Czepeku Scenes
Crocodile fascinates me because he’s such a charismatic bad guy that could have carried an entire manga but One Piece just does things different.
This character is so cool, so badass, but he hasn’t been relevant in more than 10 years I feel he’s condamned to stay an eternal “silver medalist”. Man’s a powerful devil fruit user and a-grade strategist but I’m so close to call him “loser.”
Pondy tales 2.0: walk through the rocks
We were born in the sand, belonged to sand. We were used to the cushion that the sand offers.
It was the rock beach in Pondicherry. And to reach the eternal ocean of possibilities we had to walk through the rocks. We had to feel the pain. We had to leave that sand of tranquillity and get into those edging rocks. They hurt! But we learned.
We learned that edging rocks bind the world. They connect that ocean of possibilities with the world of tranquillity we were born in. Sand signifies the calmness, it gives the cushion on which we were born and brought up. But there was no water. We had the thirst within us. We wanted to reach the ocean so that we could satisfy that thirst. We never knew that we had to face the rocks to reach the ocean of eternity. But we faced them with valour. We faced them with positivity. And at the end, we reached our destined ocean of possibilities.
That ocean washed away the wounds we carried. That ocean gave us a new life. We were floating through the waves. And the ones who never dared to walk through the rocks could never satisfy their thirst. So walk through those testing rocks and reach that ocean of eternity where anything is possible and your wounds will be healed.
I’ve been more liberal with unfollowing blogs that say stupid shit today and the last one was a reblog chastising someone for a lighthearted post about showing up late with an iced beverage being a ~power move and the reblog was calling them a lazy douchebag (excessive?) and every time I see shit like this I just wanna let all young people know that no one cares
Your coworkers don’t care when you show up if it doesn’t affect them unless they’re assholes, in which case you probably won’t care so it’s moot
Enough fucking pearl-clutching, my god
Ok so a few years back my friend went to the beach on vacation, and she asked me if I wanted a souvenir. I said I didn’t want her to buy me anything, but she insisted she get me something. So I said jokingly, “Just get me sand.”
And you know what.
That’s what she FUCKING DID
SHE BROUGHT ME A FUCKING 3 POUND BAG OF SAND FROM THE GOD DAMN BEACH.
