Guardians of our world
I never connected or understood what it meant when my mum used to say,‘god helps those who helps themselves’ but at this time and given what we’re all dealing with, her words have never been more appropriate.
For those of you who follow my blog and who sift through the pages, you will have got and understand the gist of my writing and should find some comfort.
In the world, it is clear, more that it has ever been, that we are not where we were with our mental health, say 6 or 7 years ago. The UK has done Brexit, the world is facing its biggest challenges for survival through Covid-19 and climate change and for most of us, it’s business as usual. We couldn’t wait to get back into our lives and Covid has become a mere inconvenience.
Yes, through lockdown, we couldn’t wait to get back into our lives, and no real though was put into understanding what the virus meant, or how we needed to change once we were allowed to get back out into our lives.
What I write is a force for good. I write and do so with good grace. Through my writing and through the universe, I point out what it is we all need to know, so that we can live our lives and leave the world in tact for future generations not yet born.
For that to happen, we need to put the effort in and change the way we think about how we live. As the experts continue to wade in, it’s not going to happen without us putting the effort in. This is where my books can also help. They serve as a tool, a guide; a reference point to a better way of living.
Part review for Cerebral Palsy: ‘A Story’ Finding the Calm After the Storm
“This is a read not just for those with similar conditions, but for anyone seeking to discover just how much a full positive mindset and a never-say-die attitude can give you the strength to not just manage, but to overcome.
Five inspirational stars for a read that will make you cry, give you hope, and cheer for the courage of this magnificent woman.” – Mark Carnelley
My Books in Covid-19
In Covid, Cerebral Palsy: ‘A Story’ Finding the Calm After the Storm and ‘Spirituality, Healing and Me’ give us hope that we can renew, we can do better, be better than we were yesterday and continue in our lives with hope, and with a new understanding of how we can live successful lives.
Challenges are universal
We’re not getting this right. Mum also used to say, ‘you get one crack at life’ how true and on point her words are. The challenges we face are universal. They belong to each of us; we are all responsible and yet we don’t see it as our responsibility. We are all facing difficulties, and those may seem separate, but they’re not and we need to unite, to come through to support and help one another, if we are to continue to live our lives.
We are ‘guardians of our world.’ Through my writing, my health and wellbeing are based on messages delivered from the universe. It is important to act on those.
Buying my books help me to continue to support you, so that I may continue to write, and I would be grateful for the support.
