"I guess we could go out for drinks tonight. Just don't let me get too wasted - I have some important work deadlines set for tomorrow."

"I will admit, physical aspects aside, I have never been able to appreciate the philosophy that Hisagi-fukutaichou inherited from Tousen Kaname. 'Those that do not fear their swords are not fit to wield them,' if I understand correctly. Fear is just about the last thing I feel for Minazuki, and I take a great deal of offence at the notion that someone else is determining whether or not I 'deserve' Minazuki. So I am coming into this somewhat biased on an ideological front.

That being said, I can at least see where Hisagi-fukutaichou's fans are coming from. He is muscular without unnecessary bulk, he is extremely professional and takes his duties very seriously (even when the duty in question is not so serious), he truly and openly cares for those who fight alongside him...there are certainly many admirable things to say about the Lieutenant.

Kūkaku made her way to the entrance hall upon receiving notice of her guest, via Koganehiko or Shiroganehiko activating the seal on the door, and by the time the Koganehiko and their guest reached the bottom of the stairs, she was seated, appearing as though she could have been seated there for hours beforehand. She sensed that the man Koganehiko was leading down the stairs was lieutenant class. Interesting. Though relations between her and Soul Society had improved, Soul Reapers were not a common visitor.

Koganehiko’s voice boomed out through the door, “Shuuhei Hisagi is here to commission fireworks!”

She grinned as she replied, “Well, let him in then!” This would mark the first firework request she’d had in a long time.

“At once, Kūkaku-dono!”

Koganehiko opened the door to reveal a spiky-haired lieutenant that she had a vague recollection of seeing in the aftermath of Aizen’s departure. She looked him dead in the eye as he entered, a light smirk touching her face as she asked, “So, what do you want fireworks for?”

How odd was it for the tattooed man to actually have the time and interest to visit such a place. Usually most of their time together had been spent drinking and venting to each other instead of taking time to properly go out anywhere fancy. It kind of made the blond suspicious and he wasn't trying to hide it.

"Say... is there any cute girls working there by any chance?" Izuru questioned, knowing full well how easily his best friend was swayed by beautiful ladies. Some cute waitress could easily cause Shuuhei to spend all of his hard-earned money on tea and snacks for sure.
