The only reason terror time still happens even after you beat orcanos is because the oni are petty about losing so because they know they can’t win they do it just to annoy you/waste your time instead of punishing you

My take on the Oni Trio!

I think there are things I must improve, such as trying to make the part of "Affectionate in secret, but easily embarrassed if found out." natural for Gargaros. If you guys have another take on their personalities, tell 'em here!

Fact #65

Interestingly, unlike other Boss Yo-kai, in the original Yo-kai Watch, Gargaros, Ogralus and Orcanos have all the proper animations of a normal Yo-kai, as can be seen in the Medallium, and they also have working movesets if hacked into your party.

This may suggest that they were intended to be befriendable, and the idea was scrapped and reused in Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters.
