My mom: ugh there’s nothing on tv I want to watch a good documentary
Me: how about Ken Burns’ Vietnam?
five hours later
Me:
how soon after going to el paso do you think chris wanted to go back to eddie but through a combination of teenage pride, embarrassment, and not wanting to offend his grandparents he felt like he couldn’t say anything
'does it matter? they just end up leaving anyway' 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
The song chris recommended is dreamy as hell. Romantic. How am I not surprised. Bless him.
So i was just contemplating what might have been different if Buck wasn't a firefighter.
It occured to me that there's the possibility that Chris would still have gone to the pier that day with whoever was babysitting him. And it would have been with someone who wouldn't fight for Eddie's son as much as Buck did. And the end of that day may have had a very different outcome.
Between this and this 👇🏽
🤣 I can't with them!
So I watched IWTB tonight for the first time in probably ten years. It’s just not part of any rewatch I normally do. I figured okay, maybe I didn’t give it a fair shot the first couple times I watched it. Maybe I’ve mellowed over the last decade and I can find something other than the scratchy beard scene and the Moose and Squirrel kiss scene at the end that I can enjoy and appreciate.
Nope, didn’t happen. WTF were Chris and Frank smoking when they wrote this? I’ll stick with Seasons 1-7 and Fight the Future, thank you very much.
