Getting a call in the middle of the night was not how Hanbyul wanted her already fitful night of sleep to go.
Getting a call in the middle of the night that Sungmin had once again harmed Zelo was not what she wanted to hear.
Getting a call in the middle of the night that Zelo’s right eye was crudely removed and he was currently in painful surgery was the end.
Heading to Seoul Psychiatric at that time of night was not going to happen but action had to be taken. They only knew what was going on because of Zelo’s scream. The eye has nerves and muscles and it was removed without numbing, anesthesia, nothing. Possibly with a tool that was not sterile or rip from the socket which, she couldn’t decide which was worse.
Zelo was in for long and painful procedures regardless. She authorized Sungmin be restrained in isolation, something she was loathe to do but if he were allowed to continue, Zelo might lose his life. Additionally, she put in an order for the two of them to have better watch, a nurse or security guard with them at all time.
And walking into the psychiatric facility on her day off, after her doctor had ordered her to be on bed rest, what patience she had was gone. For both of them.
“Keep Sungmin restrained. But bring him to the infirmary. You’ll find me wherever Zelo is. While we’re there, add a separation order to what I’ve authorized. They will not be allowed contact. None.”
The head nurse nodded, picking up the phone and call the security office who sent two guards to properly restrain Sungmin and bring him to the infirmary where Hanbyul walked to slowly, directed towards the room Zelo was resting in.
