It was a popular cash crop for the British settlers who started planting it in 1848 until a disease introduced by a beetle wiped out the entire population by 1862. On this #internationalwomensday , I want to talk about the hardworking & creative women around me. Last weekend, I was at the gala of The Father with girlfriends for another tear-jerking presentation by @pangdemoniumtheatre, followed by late night chat and wine. All done in a flamboyant skirt made by @therecklessshop. This weekend, I'm volunteering at #ohemeraldhill, that's well coordinated by the tough ladies at @ohopenhouse. And tomorrow, I'm meeting with my favourite #fightgirl, @yansyl who draws, watercolours and create with grace in the day, then punch with fire on the side.
