So, one of the days Earth takes the ice giants down to his surface Neptune gets scurvy. He has no fruits or vegetables back up in his orbit, and then for the couple earth days he’s down there he barely remembers to eat and just. Gets scurvy. Because he hasn’t had enough vitamin c all his life and it only took a couple days on Earth’s surface for it to catch up to him and he gets scurvy.

Which APPARENTLY REOPENS ALL YOUR SCARS—so the leftover scars scattered across Neptune’s arms and legs from his time in isolation, and then the scars all over his back (because his tail scars translated to there) just reopen and start bleeding everywhere.

This happens overnight.

Neptune wakes up in a pool of his own blood and just starts screaming.
