date had always tried his best to raise mizuki, but there were things he couldn't do. he had no idea how to explain tampons to mizuki, how to prepare her for going out with boys or how to do her makeup.
but then he met you. you were just a colleague of his, but when he brought mizuki to work one day, the two of you got along incredibly well. date just watched from afar as mizuki opened up to you with ease and he was happy to see her smile so much around you.
on his way home, mizuki wouldn't stop bugging him about you. she told him about the two of you exchanging numbers and that you had given her an eyeliner to practice makeup with. even when the two of them arrived home, he still heard mizuki talk to you on the phone as she tried to practice drawing with the eyeliner she got from you.
