Today feels like summer. It's hot and humid. The air conditioner is on at home, but I can't shut one of my bedroom windows. Apparently, the screen and glass is missing. So where did it go?! Maybe the guy who put a window air conditioner in (I just took it out) messed it up. When he put the unit is I told him not to bend the window a certain way, but he scoffed at me. Then he broke it. I didn't say much at the time. Now I want to say something. Haha. Anyway, my bedroom is hot. And this post is about nothing really. I ordered a stand up a.c. today. I like my room chilly and the old folks are cold all the damn time. I need to clean the patio table and chairs. Maybe they'll sit out back.
The good news is that my husband bought me a barbecue for mother's day! Very generous of him. It's almost completely put together. We ran out of daylight on Saturday. Then yesterday was Sunday and he was just chilling out.
We almost finished it tonight, but it got too hot.
So besides wanting to buy a bird feeder and start identifying the birds (I've got so far), I want to become even better at barbecuing than I am. It has a burner on it too. I'm thinking baked beans and mac and cheese.
But I could try to make homemade Mac and cheese... 🤔

I have spent my whole life getting pissed off at impatient and grumpy old people.
Yesterday I realized old folks are only impatient because they have lest time left to get shit done than other folks, younger folks. They are grumpy because people are in the way, slowing down the shit they are trying to get done and wasting preciouses time told folks don't have to spend.
I also realized I am old, impatient and grumpy because I am running low on time. Well, all that and I've been an asshole forever.
