"Do I look like someone's mother to you?!"
"This habit feels a lot more worrisome now I'm no longer in my 20s..."
"My face looks so wrinkled and my eye sight is just worse than ever. Please let this just be a nightmare!"
Any other X-Men around?

Lab Rat || Older!Self || Open
When she first attended SHIELD HIGH, her telepathy had been practically nonexistent. She remembered her abilities first showing themselves soon after Annie's death, all those years ago. After that had been years of confusion and frustration for the redhead. That was, until she was visited by two agents who introduced her to SHIELD. The mental blocks put in place in her mind greatly deafened her telepathy.
As she got older, the blocks were slowly taken down. With maturity came the ability to better control and handle her gifts. Jean hadn't had an episode like this since then.
The woman cradled her temples in her hand, rubbing at them as if in an attempt to ward off the voices of her former classmates. She closed her eyes, practicing the deep breathing and concentration exercises she learned years prior. After fifteen minutes the voices quieted, and she was able to open her eyes once more.
The interior of the school's lab greeted her. She'd craved something familiar in this suddenly unfamiliar world, and knew visiting the lab would be the best idea. Being a scientist was her day job, besides being a member of the X-Men. She hadn't yet sought out any of her team mates, too confused even to zero in on their mental voices. Instead she'd retreated to the lab, the only place that she felt comfortable.
Went to sleep as an 8 year old, woke up 25.
M!A: You're now 25 for two days.
Wow, okay.
