I haven’t posted a #comicbookhaul pic in a while. Here are some of my recent purchases and reads. I had to support the new #Naomi comic fro #DCComics #WonderComics. I had a really profound moment when I realized that I was reading #Ironheart #Shuri and #Naomi at the same time. All very powerful women of color. #representationmatters #TheBatmanWhoLaughs is off to a fantastic start. The writing is riveting and the artwork is outstanding for the nature of the story and this twisted character. After reading #OldManLogan, #OldManHawkeye is a great read. The #JusticeLeague and #JusticeLeagueDark series are quite good. The story is just so huge. This whole Source Wall concept really makes the universe feel small. Lastly, #BlackPanther “The Intergalactic Empire of #Wakanda” series has been really interesting. It really rethinks, or recasts, the main characters and even Wakanda. I love the strong space/sci-fi with lots of references to African Spirituality.
