Friendship is not letting your friends watch terrible shows
Bonus is not letting them ship toxic disgusting ships
im sooo bitter about the wedding. its like tptb think just bc WA had an unfinished reception we should be happy? nah. and i can't at OF stans not realizing why we're mad & claiming theyd be happy if the roles were reversed. but they lost their shit when WA got engaged which had NOTHING to do with them. like we mad bc their ship ruined WA wedding as their "friends". i just really hope all the media backlash will have them fix it somehow later down the line. dawn allen is the only thing i liked
Yeah Dawn’s arrival was the best. Any Olishitty shipper who says they would be happy with the treatment WA got is a damned lie. They were bitching about the crossover weddings from teh beginning and we all know they would not be okay with Follie getting treated that way. The writers wrote WA being ok with this ish because that is what they wanted to write. They thought double weddings would somehow top previous seasons, which depending on how you view it is accurate. All the shows got a boost from flash viewers tuning in to view WA’s wedding, but that’s all that really was. I refuse to be tricked again though. If I am still watching the flash next season I am going back to my habit of ignoring the crossovers.
Olishitty can die in a fire as far as I am concerned. Cisco should have breached their asses to another planet after their outburst at the wedding, preferably one covered in molten lava. RIP Olishitty and your stupid ass show.
I’m not misogynist
I hate Oliver Queen,Felicity Smoak and Arrow equally from this day forward.
The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, isn’t it amazing that these three awesome shows exist in one big multiverse. I had a nightmare that there was a fourth show about two self douchebags who called themselves heros, but then kept stealing the spotlight from their very good friends at their weddings and stuff.
Terrible, terrible dream. Thank goodness it was just a nightmare and no such selfish ass-holes exist.
I cant wait for the BatCat wedding so Olibur and Felipe can come out of no where and make it about them.
Isn't it sweet how Olishitty is getting a real wedding after that selfish brat hijacked the impromptu ceremony of the couple that actually WANTED to get married??
Arrow - can it be Arrow again?
So this week, Arrow fans rejoiced as the show did something unexpected. It wrote an episode ABOUT VIGILANTE HEROES!
Seriously bold step for a show that has spent much of the last season trying to make itself a "no male fans wanted" show with the tween soap opera crap.
It drew 2.64M viewers, aka - just a shred under what its season premiere drew (the one the Olishitty shippers were SO PROUD OF & had no major television competition). Oh, did I forget to mention.... this weeks episode was up against the GOP debate and a World Series game (both which drew well in excess of 10M (13.7M & 14M) viewers away from other programs each). AKA- notable male audience draws. So how did it manage such a strong showing? Simple. It went back to being ARROW.
The heroes went back to fighting bad guys. The only drama we had to deal with was related to the imminent dangers/situation they were in and not about the romantic clinginess of a 25 yr old teen age girl. The strength of Paul Blackthorne being on screen for possibly longer than he was on for all of season 3 combined helped. Echo Kellum is making the fans who enjoyed Felicity in season 1 BECAUSE she was the quirky comic relief genius fall in love with his character in that same way. With any luck, he'll make Felicity irrelevant in a season or two (or maybe the season finale?? *cough* gravestone*cough*).
It is the highest rated episode of the season so far on IMDB & TV.Com, as well as the highest episode on IMDB in over a year and 2nd highest on TV. Com since "The Climb".
The fans have spoken. They don't want to hear or see anything more about Olivers love life, and even less about Felicitys. Give us what was promised when you created season 1 & 2. Masked vigilante heroes fighting bad guys. I'm not saying they CANT have love lives on the show. I'm not even saying that Oliver and Felicity cant be together. Just scale it back 98%. Its something you should be reminded of 1-3 times in a season in ways relevant to the specific episodes storyline. Not 5-10+ minutes of every 42 minute episode. If you want to write schloppy tween angst filled romance, I am sure The CW can put you on 1 of their 46 other shows that are drowning in that (and thus why the network never manages to make a dent in the ratings).
Question will be if Marc Guggenheim, Wendy Mericle, Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and the writers for Arrow noticed.
