Penn: Not really, no. I mean, Olive and I work on tech together behind the scenes, but we aren't, like... partners or anything.

Penn: I guess I've worked with some of the other heroes around New York? But just for in-the-moment stuff that sort of requires us to pool together.

Olive: Oh, the other guys I get grouped with are, to be honest, lame. I don't vibe with them, so I don't work with them. But! I do have some cute lil' Octo-Bots that tag along with me sometimes. Each of 'em is special, because they're all built to do something different. I got the idea from Penn-- she's made a whole bunch of gizmos to fit any situation, so I figured I should do the same!

Olive: Penn knows to go easy on 'em if we have to face off, though. Don't tell her I noticed this, but I'm pretty sure Cool Ranchbot is her favorite.

Oh! So you two are friends in this dimension? That's not very common between Spideys and Ocks.

Penn: We have a good relationship, yes. We actually met several years ago, when we were kids. But there was a while where we ended up at different schools, and sort of drifted apart because of that. Only ran into each other again once we were at college. Turns out both of us had some pretty big life changes between the kid stuff and when we met again. Mostly of the spider-powers and/or self-constructed technologic appendages variety.

Penn: Dammit. Olive’s been having this look on her face for the past few days. It’s this curly little smile that sneaks up whenever she’s planning something.

Penn: Guess it’s time for me to start snooping on her again...
