He probably works out how much money you spend on him and has it noted down so that when he gets older and makes plenty of money he can pay you back

Probably has a little box of odd things you've given him like stones, sticks, flowers that he got pressed and even notes you've given him

Once again he really doesn't mind if any money goes into them he just loves that you're always thinking of him and trying to make him happy
