He almost flinches when he feels your arms on his- almost, because he’s quite paralyzed himself, wanting to run but forcing himself to stay. You’re asking him what he wants when he doesn’t know, himself- no, he knows what he wants, but he’s trying to find something that he can have, because you’ve really been unattainable so far.

“Don’t hate me.” That’s all he can really ask of you. “I-I can’t lose ya, not as my.....as m’ friend, so please, I don’ care if ya don’ love me, jus’ don’ hate me, okay?”

It’s gotten to him too much, honestly, the “love or hate” ultimatum that everyone else has thrown at him. Of course you don’t love him, of course this is useless, of course your friendship will fall apart. Everything that others have told him, he’s held on to them as inevitable truths.

At least promise him that the last part was a lie.

Get a pizza. Preferably 3 extra larges. Have a who can eat the most contest and prank the rest of the cast by using the empty pizza boxes as a container filled with glitter, hairdye, and confetti that explodes in their face when opened. High five for a job well done and laugh and watch funny videos with her after.

The pizza eating contest would certainly get her excited. As would the pranking, though she would be much more timid in carrying out that part. Not that she wouldn’t help.
