On the one hand, I’m not sure I like Eggman being a “father” to Sage. I think he works better when he’s an egotistical loner, as a foil to Sonic and his many many friends. I’d prefer it if Eggman saw Sage as a great creation and patted himself on the back for his genius, rather than loving her as a daughter.

On the other hand, I do like the idea of Sage, Belle and Omelette (a.k.a. Eggette) hanging out as a trio of sisters who can’t decide whether to suck up to their dad or call him out for his villainy.

And hey, let’s throw in Surge as a chaotic stepsister. Why not?
