2014 highlights
Time check, 10:57pm, and I still have work for tomorrow. I need to sleep but half of my instinct says I need to write this down first - my 2014 highlights.
There’s nothing much about my year but most of the happiest ones was during the concerts and music fest I attended.
* February. I saw “The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus” (for the 2nd time) and “The Natives”. They had free show at Eastwood Mall for 7107. I didn’t make it at 7107 cause the ticket was expensive and the venue was pretty far from my place.
* March. I saw The 1975! Been listening to the band for almost half a year then MMI invited this British band to play in Manila for FREE! YES ITS A FUCKIN FREE SHOW! The glorious Matt Healy omg.
* April - July — No concert. No music fest. I’m preparing for BRF3.
* August. Bazooka Rocks 3. 2 days of rock concert. I saw The Used and my hs fav band, Taking Back Sunday! That was the highlight of brf’s day 1. I also saw on the same day, Saves The Day and Senses Fail.
Still August. Still BRF. This shouldn’t be my day 2 highlight but God knows it was. I saw coldrain! And I’m still crushing on Masato until now *oopss is this normal? Its been 4 months, tho* I saw also Echosmith, The Summer Set, We are the in Crowd, and You Me at Six.
I also shared my own bazooka experience thru Manila Concert Junkies (manilaconcertjunkies.blogspot.com)
* September - November — Just. Zzzzz. Work. Eat. Friends.
* December. Support OPM. Went to Rakrakan Festival. Any Filipino bands you can think of was probably in the line up cause 70 bands played during the event. Its a ROCK TIL YOU DROP show! Literally.
Every music fest I’ve been to has a wonderful experience I can keep. Thank you almighty God for this awesome 2014 you gave to me.
Hello to 2015. Looking forward to The Script (already bought my ticket last year), Pulp Summer Slam ‘15 and Bazooka Rocks 4.
RAKRAKAN FESTIVAL – my last music fest for the year 2014
Rakrakan Festival is probably one of the biggest OPM events in the Philippines. The event is on its 2nd year of “Rock Till You Drop” show. I really maximized my 270 bucks on this one whole day event (FYI, aside from the 70 bands you will see, you also have one Red Horse beer for free). Band merch is everywhere and of course the food stalls. *just don’t like the fact that water is more expensive than beer*. But overall, Rakrakan is really a rockin event show for Filipino metal heads!
The event have 3 stages in different parts of Globe Circuit Event Grounds (Circuit Makati). It’s up to you where you want to stay. Mosh stage, Move stage and Groove stage. I stayed longer in the Move stage, though. I’m not really joining “wall of death” and gigantic “circle pit” *LOL* that’s why I chose Move over Mosh. But if you’re like me and my co-fangirl buddies April and Joyvie, we switched stages time after time, depending on the band that will play next. The event was really worth it! You just need a strong stamina to run like an idiot from one stage to the other just to catch your favourite band performs (hashtag fangirl duties). Maybe that’s where the tagline “Rock Till You Drop” applies to us.
Rakrakan Festival was a perfect rock event to close my 2014. Thank you for making this possible.

Welcome back to Tumblr 🎉
I'd been to Tumblr before, since highschool I do tumblring/ tumblelog already yknow! But I decided to delete it last November 1, 2012. Yep, I deleted my account on a Halloween so I can mourn something every year (kidding aside). So anyway, I decided to go back cause I want to post something new now. Just last year I had my very first experience going to a music festival - foreign bands, mostly. During my elementary, I'm hooked with boybands. In highschool I've been going to different gigs supporting our locals - OPM yes!! I really enjoyed the feeling of live music; it's like a real Heaven on a fuckin' Earth! From now on, expect me to post related to music, to your favorite bands and whatsoever happening in Manila! Welcome to myself!
