I KNOW teenagers can write. I’ve read fan fiction that was produced by teenagers that is absolutely fabulous.

Why can’t I seem to get MY teenagers to put half as much effort into sentence structure for an essay as they do for fanfic?

#we're not even discussing historical accuracy or analysis #I would kill for a logical sentence right now #This is NOT a post saying teenagers can't write #This is a post begging teenagers to proofread before they give something to their poor beleaguered teacher who has to read 90 essays #on the same topic #and after a while #constant grammar errors make her want to claw her eyes out

Honestly, I think complexity should do something to thank their fans. I absolutely believe they deserved winning the jack and jack contest but I think they should recognize the thousands who voted because all of the support is often overlooked.
