Welcome To The November Challenge 2021!

November can be a busy time! Recovering from Halloween horrors, preparing for upcoming Holidays, and working on Nano! In celebration of such things, here is another challenge! Remember that these challenges are designed to encourage creativity and foster community! This challenge is meant to take place from the 24th to the 30th!

DO NOT copy others edits.

If you are doing crossovers, PLEASE make sure that the creator of the other oc is okay with crossovers.

If you want your post to be reblogged onto this blog, it must contain the hashtag onc2021

Feel free to ask questions!

Everything is up to the creators interpretation, although I have tried to include some examples for help!

Challenges below the cut!

      1. Tis The Damn Season (24th)

Autumn leaves falling like pieces into place... or something like that. Make something to celebrate fall! A fall-themed moodboard? Edit to a song that feels like fall to you? Maybe your ocs doing a fall activity! Whatever it is, this day is all about the season!

      2. Meet Your Heroes (25th)

They say never to meet your hero... screw that! Create something for a fellow creator who inspires you! A cover, a gifset, a drabble, a graphic, a playlist, anything at all! After all, sharing is caring!

     3. People Change People (26th)

That’s the secret of the universe! At least according to Girl Meets World. For this challenge, create something for a crossover you have with another creator! How would your ocs change each other? How would their stories change if they were together?

      4. Alt Er Love (27th)

Love makes the world go round, at least to the optimists and hopeless romantics. So make something for a favorite oc dynamic(s), platonic or otherwise! Hell, even hatred, after all they say do hatred is not opposite of love.

      5. Back To The Future (28th)

Remembering can come back in flashback and echoes, so conjure up some echoes from a previous nano you’ve participated in (it doesn’t even have to be one you completed). And for those of you who haven’t completed in Nano or are participating for the first time, no worries! Do what inspires you, do what you miss, do what you crave.

      6. Honor Thy Elder (29th)

They say you can always go back home, so for this day, honor the oc who laid the first brick of your creative mind. Make something for the oldest oc you (still) have!      

     7. November Flush (30th)

To honor the end, we honor the month! Make something using the word November! A drabble placed in November? An edit with a poem or song that mentions this fall month? Good luck!

It's not even because it works, because it hardly ever does. I do what I do, because it's right! Because it's decent! And above all, it's kind. 

Tori ( @carewyncromwell​ ) has been an inspiration and someone I look up to as a writer since I found her Lack Of Lamb Sauce fic before hphm even came out.  don’t have words for the doors reaching out to her has opened to me ever since I plucked up the courage to reach out to her. She encouraged me to make this blog and it led to me meeting so many people, and it gave me the courage to reach out to other creators outside of the hphm community. She’s incredibly kind and wonderful and legit the definition of why you should meet your heroes <3
