Robert: Yes! A big party for two birthdays.
Ritchie and Jimmy unison: NO!
Jimmy, approaches to Robert: Shh! I'm trying to protect you my dear.
Ritchie, approaches to Ian: Shhh! I'm trying to bring back what is fucking yours!

Police reform doesn't work. The cops we're fighting right now were plenty reformed, they have been since the last round of BLM protests. All the NYPD pigs have body cams now. Didn't stop them from gassing everyone.
The police need to be abolished. We need workers' militias keeping order in their own communities, not white supremacist police. That can only happen as part of a broader socialist program, when the working class has actually taken power.
I know people like to narrow their focus to one issue because that seems more achievable, but it's really not. The only permanent fix to any of these problems is a change in the mode of production, and even small reforms come only when the whole system is threatened. There's only one movement, always has been, and it always needs to be taken further.
