Uzodinma Declares Imo State One-Party System, Says Opposition Nonexistent
The DNC quietly removed language from the party platform yesterday that endorsed an end to fossil fuel subsidies, after voting two years ago to allow itself to accept fossil fuel PAC contributions.

Would a two-party system even work in China?
http://thediplomat.com/2015/03/imagining-china-under-a-two-party-system/\
Many in China’s CCP argue that the one-party system is necessary to retain efficiency, not only with a quickly developing economy, but the massive population straining at the seams of the state. Those in favor of the one-party system often cite the gridlock in the western world (particularly in the US and UK) as hindering progress and innovation.
Those who oppose the one-party system argue that the status quo prohibits democracy and human rights, that valuing unity over dissent is a disregard for change and reform. Freedom of press and unrestricted access to outside information threatens the legitimacy of the One-Party rule, because they allow for people to share dissenting opinions and organize.
China’s Political Reforms (or lack thereof)

With the ruling CPC still strongly interwoven in the government, there is little room for dissension or reformists in the ranks of the party. There are no checks or balances, neither from the legislative or the judiciary (there is no precedent for judicial review). The National People’s Congress consists of 2,987 members, and meets only once a year for 10-14 days, which allows for very little room for influence by minority members. In order to advance politically, one must prove their loyalty both to the party’s ideology and (more importantly) to the party’s elite, so even a slight hint of reformist would turn off anyone from advancement.
The United States' One-Party Government
The United States’ One-Party Government
Everybody thinks the United States has a two-party system of government; with a few independents.
This is NOT true.
There is only one-party in the United States.
It is the party of politicians and government employees.
These incompetent and corrupt individuals are doing everything possible to obtain and keep power and economic benefits flowing to themselves.
Americans need to replace ALL of them.

You Can’t End Corruption Using Corrupt People’s Rules
I have a lot of friends who believe in “party infiltration”. And I have so much respect for ANYBODY who is willing to step up in ANY capacity to make a difference. But, in my opinion, there is no way that true liberty and the freedom to dissent will be successful in a party system that strong-arms candidates based on the money they raise and the money the party can then use to buy influence.

Illusions of Choice
Curiously, many in the right would gladly support Obama’s policies if a midwestern Republican were implementing them. These same folks took pride in the Bush II era, yet are totally offended by Obama’s identical foreign policy, his identical pernicious domestic meddling and state growth. It isn’t racism, but it may be harder to fix. Most of what passes for the political right as a movement doesn’t even understand what they stand for. They don’t understand fundamentals of federalism and limited government, they don’t understand the language and motivations of the founders, and they lack the kind of self-awareness that might allow them to question why they feel there is such a difference between a George W and Barack H.
