Enjoying some post-dinner coffee before retreating to my tent.
Time to leave Seventy Buck Viewpoint and descend back down to the car.

Living the camping life.
Lots of history on this late winter camping trip. In Sundance Lodge Meadow, we saw what remained of two sundance lodges (as implied by the name of the meadow lolol) and Stoney prayer flags. Next up were the pictographs (rock paintings). I read that these were painted by the Kootenai Indians some 400 years ago, very cool! Unfortunately in 1975 part of the wall collapsed, taking six of the eight pictographs with it. Supposedly, there were pictographs higher up as well, so we spent a while climbing around looking for them. We never found them, but we did stumble across a great geocache! We finished off the day with tea and a warm campfire.
Home sweet home. :-)
