In honor of my love for ATLA and Zutara resurfacing again after the new show came out :') I know Zuko isn't that much taller than Katara in the main series but let's pretend this is a time skip. I just wanted to see Katara in that dress!

Also, this is my first time ever drawing them!!!! CRYINGGG They are both so pretty to draw! I had so much fun with Zuko's scar, and Katara's color palette is simply gorgeous

Levi and Mikasa are about to go out and Levi decides to try to tie her hair for the first time *cries*

I used a manga panel as reference from "Hori San to Miyamura Kun"!

I imagined Levi proposed quietly and privately to Mikasa in their cabin. Peep the shining ring!

I had so much fun w this!! I actually sampled my own client photographs… Also tried more new techniques! So I'm super proud of this 😭

Took a lot of what I learned from this particular piece I did in December with lighting and tried to do things on my own this time. I had some troubles with hands... Kept getting stuck, almost gave up on this but @binibchielq helped me problem solve the damn hands LOL. <3

I primarily stuck with a paintbrush type of style, and I let it get a little messy out of lines. I wasn't planning on this approach but I just went with it because it's something I've been liking a lot lately. You get that bit of texture of the 'canvas' and it feels more personal and real.

I was tempted to saturate and get a little more vibrancy but it felt like such a soft moment; the colors needed to be the same :')

For fun, here is a B&W version (I love seeing the tones/values I get after coloring/shading) and one without the line art and without a glow filter!

After drawing Zutara yesterday, I immediately missed Rivamika LOL. Saw another fun panel today from the web toon Selena and thought it'd be fun to do another roto-drawing (I'm just gonna call it that from here on)

Made it a lil steamier with the smaller details. Also played around w thinner lines this time around compared to the usual thicker lines I love.

Been awhile since drawing somethin' steamy for Levi and Mikasa HEHE

Rivamika Month Day 3: Childhood/High School submission!

Levi and Mikasa are childhood friends, now in high school. Levi takes a nap on her shoulder and Mikasa can't figure out why her heart is beating out of her chest... 🤭💕

I'm in my absolute post-war Rivamika brain rot right now. Saw a random clip of Insomniacs After School of two characters having their awkward first kiss and it was adorable. I wanted to turn them into RM immediately, and so I did!

(Another trace/draw/edit hybrid... Still can't draw without reference or tracing and I wanna make that clear LOL. But gosh do I love coloring/shading)

I imagined Levi and Mikasa exchanged letters after the war for many years, then Levi finally visits her on Paradis. Neither of them realize they had feelings for each other... Until they finally see each other under the tree. They kiss in front of Eren's grave. :) Lol

I present to you...

Attack on Titan x Final Fantasy VII crossover!!

I've ALWAYS wanted to do this kind of piece and I finally had time and motivation to do it over the course of two nights, especially after officially beating Crisis Core (and actually crying over the ending)! Mikasa as Tifa Lockhart, and Levi as Cloud Strife (but also kind of Zack Fair; I threw on Zack's face scars just because it looks cool).

I'm am over the moon about this and loooove how it came out! I did a few more techniques this time around and phew, was it worth it.

My love for FFVII has really taken off recently with playing Crisis Core so it felt like the perfect timing to bring these two series together. Hope y'all love it!!

It's been awhile but I'm here to give y'all a new piece! :') Referenced art from a manga, Re-employment Life With An Unsociable Untalkative Magician. I saw the panel and immediately wanted to see Rivamika in their place so I coughed up the 8 hours to do it!

Full transparency, I traced the hell out of this as I usually do with these transformation hybrid pieces: trace, but draw Levi and Mikasa in, and do all the coloring and rendering from scratch.

I can't believe I took on that many details LOL but worth it! Here's the version without the filter on -- but I did love the vintage and golden-hour feel with the filter.

Might write up a quick one-shot for this soon :)
