all of a sudden I really want a penpal I can send letters to; who lives a whole different life very far away from me. &they’d tell me about “mundane” things about their life that I don’t really find mundane.

Numbers in math?

what is that? all my math has letters in it.

only numbers I see are exponents (sometimes)

I remember when a letter in math was an issue

how naive I was back then

now I have to deal with quadruple integrals, Laplace transform, Euler's rule, and derivatives of displacement to get speed and acceleration.

at least the derivatives are easy
